This fully managed aircraft-to-ground solution is designed to automatically acquire data from multiple aircraft systems. Using automation, it captures, compresses and transfers this collected data via available communication links, based on operator-selected business rules and priority-based communications.
This capability extents to all aircraft file types, which can be automatically synchronized and exchanged with our ground servers when the aircraft lands.

Purpose-built for any AID
DataCapture® is purpose-built software which we have developed in-house to be device agnostic, leveraging the full interface capabilities of any aircraft interface device (AID). Airlines can deploy DataCapture® by installing it on existing AID hardware connected to aircraft avionics, or with an AID that we have provided, as part of a managed service.
Secure data management
Data collected by DataCapture® onboard the aircraft is offloaded through the SITA FOR AIRCRAFT Cloud, protected by firewalling and our private VPN. Using the Cloud means data is secure and consistently accessible, and customers are able to avoid the costs associated with physical ground server implementations.
Seamless data transfer
Aircraft data, such as QAR and application log files, are collected and packaged onboard the aircraft and transferred straight after landing using available IP links (cellular or Wi-Fi). Multi-link transfers are also possible. All data can be transferred during turnaround.

Airline maintenance staff save time thanks to the DataCapture® automated data extraction process. By providing immediate access to complete flight data post-flight, the solution is ideal for predictive maintenance programs and advanced parts management.
